Many a times our PC is threatened with virus attacks that our antivirus program does not detect.Here is a simple solution to the above problem.
The below code checks whether our antivirus program is good at detecting viruses or is only a waste of time and money.
Open notepad and type the below code :
X5O!P%@AP[4\PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H+H*
Now, save the above file with the extension .exe and any filename. As soon as you save the file, your anti-virus program should detect it as a virus and remove it immediately. If not, then its time for a new antivirus software!
